Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici Carolina Albasio, compliant to its Statute and Institutional goals, supports and fosters the development of businesses according to art. 2, subsection 1, letter e) of Decreto Legislativo 27^thJuly 1999, n. 297 aimed at the production and sale of goods and services in innovative contexts partly or fully resulting from research.

Aims

Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio’s Spin Offs aim at:

1. 1. Industrial use of academic research for activities compliant to art. 2 subsection 1 letter e) of Decreto Legislativo n. 297/99;
1. 1. Supporting the network between the academic research of Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio, industry and territorial institutions to support scientific and technological research as well as spreading the use of new technologies beneficial for industrial production, social welfare and territory in terms of attractiveness for national and international investment.;
1. Integrating the University’s educational and research purposes by supporting business development in the academic community and in young graduates, promoting new business activities born from research activities and the development of new products, processes and services realized in said research institutions.

Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio considers “Spin Offs” those firms having the aforementioned goals and constituted compliant to its Spin off Guideline procedures. Spin offs entail the involvement of Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio in terms of nominal capital or the involvement of the University’s staff through equity investment or the direct participation in the achievement of the corporate purpose by offering the use know-how and skills created with research.
