Research and Development is one of Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio’s core activities. Research and Study projects are supported and carried out in cooperation with other Universities, Research Centers, Businesses and Public and Private Institutions.
Research and Development are crucial for Italy’s growth and development: with the world’s globalization, Italy has to live up to its legacy by carrying on its reputation as a country of unparalleled scientific and artistic excellence. Scuola Superiore Carolina Albasio carries out Research and Development in line with the principles of the Italian Constitution, the Treaty on the European Union and Project Horizon 2020. Research activities focus on areas pertaining and relevant to Scienze della Mediazione Linguistica Bachelor Degree ranging from languages to law, sociology, economics, literature, psychology and IT.
Horizon 2020 is an EU Research and Innovation funding program developed on three principles.
This program aims at enhancing EU scientific excellence and to strengthen the European Research Area (ERA) in order to improve the EU Research and Development’s competitiveness at a global scale.
Another objective of Horizon 2020 is to hasten technological development and innovation of future business in order to support the most innovative European SMEs (Small and Medium Businesses) to become global-level leader businesses. Access to credit and innovation activities will follow a bottom-up and on-demand logic without priority predetermination. Leadership activities for the advancement and for industrial technology will follow and approach guided by the technology for the development in industrial and services areas.
This program directly addresses the political priorities underlined by Europe Strategy 2020 and aims at stimulating Research and Innovation efforts for the realization of EU political goals. Social sciences and Humanities, being across-the-board in relation to “addressing social challenges”, are a fundamental part present in every activity. A dedicated scientific development space for these disciplines is found within the “mutually supporting, innovative and safe societies” sector.
